Thank you for submitting your shipment data, a quotation will be sent to you shortly, the quotation will assume that the shipment you plan to tender to PGL does not contain dangerous goods or lithium batteries. You must assume responsibility for complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the contents of this shipment.
Accidental or willful inclusion of dangerous goods in shipment will void prior quotation, may delay movement of goods or result in legal consequences. If you are in any doubt as to the acceptability of your goods please contact PGL for verification, a PGL representative may be able to offer alternative transport arrangements.
Lithium Batteries are classified as Dangerous Goods. There are shipping regulations for Lithium Batteries. Defective, damaged and recalled batteries are not permitted.
The Shipper is legally responsible for compliance and the safe transportation of Lithium Batteries. Not all types of Lithium Batteries are accepted for movement via PGL.
Allowed Lithium Battery contained in equipment – Subject to additional charges.
- Package with equipment containing less than 2 batteries or 4 cells are accepted for transport without the lithium battery mark.
Example: A package containing a notebook computer may have 1 lithium ion battery and 2 small lithium metal coin cells installed.
Not Allowed
- Loose / bulk Lithium Batteries, Lithium Batteries packed separately with equipment are not accepted.
- Lithium Batteries that are known or suspected to be defective or damaged or recalled present a high safety risk to personnel and property, and are not permitted on aircraft under any circumstances.
- When it is known or suspected that a defective or damaged or recalled Lithium Battery is enclosed within a laptop, mobile phone or other device, the battery must be removed before PGL can accept the shipment.
